all of us, in fact every human being on this earth, has looked at the raining. it is just a look. all of us say 'oh! it is raining'. it is nothing to us; it is just raining. for us the raining is simply the downpour of water from the sky. we stop at that because we merely look the downpour because we have lost the capacity of seeing it. ancient hindus also looked at it; but went further to see it. and lo! they saw the whole cosmology, the eternal truth & knowledge, the basic science, a system and order of human life and a lot, lot more.
they did'nt merely looked. they saw the whole secret of creaton in it. let us see what they saw and said about raining:
the water, which pours down from the sky, creates five water-bodies on the earth. these five water-bodies are called well, spring, stream, river and sea. this is the original thinking; cosmology, science and a lot more to the ancient hindus. they said the water is prana and applied this science in healing of the human body/mind. further they described it as five pranic-bodies prana enters the human body through the fingers & toes and creates the five pranic-cenctres known as well, spring stream, river and sea.
